TPO & PVC Roofing

TPO, PVC & Flat-Roof Systems in Las Vegas

Flat and low-slope roofs need a completely different system than pitched tile or shingle roofs. For these roofs — common on modern homes, additions, patio structures, and commercial buildings across Las Vegas — City Seamless Roofing installs single-ply membrane systems: TPO and PVC.

These systems create a continuous, watertight, highly reflective surface engineered for ponding resistance and the punishing desert sun.

TPO & PVC Single-Ply Membrane

TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) is a workhorse single-ply membrane — bright white and highly reflective, heat-welded at the seams into a continuous watertight surface. Its reflectivity makes it an excellent cool roof for Las Vegas, cutting heat gain on flat roofs that bake all summer.

PVC membrane offers similar reflectivity with excellent chemical resistance and extremely strong welded seams — a premium choice for demanding flat-roof applications. Both are far more reliable than the old built-up tar-and-gravel and roll-roofing systems they replace.

Systems We Don't Install — and Why

We want to be clear about two flat-roof systems City Seamless does not install. Torch-down (torch-applied modified bitumen) is an older method where rolled asphalt sheets are melted onto the roof with an open flame; it's still around, but it's not something we do. Spray polyurethane foam (SPF), sometimes called a spray-foam roof, is a sprayed-on foam layer sealed with a coating that has to be recoated every several years to keep working; we don't install that either.

For flat and low-slope roofs in Las Vegas, we install reflective TPO or PVC single-ply membrane instead — a bright, heat-welded, watertight surface built for ponding resistance and desert UV. If a building genuinely needs a system we don't offer, we'll tell you straight rather than steer you into something outside what we do best.

Why Flat Roofs Fail in Las Vegas — and How We Fix It

Flat and low-slope roofs are where monsoon water pools, and where old roll-roofing and worn coatings give out. The fix is a properly installed reflective TPO or PVC membrane with correct slope-to-drain detailing, sealed penetrations, and watertight flashing at every wall and curb. We diagnose ponding and drainage problems and build the system to shed and survive monsoon downpours.

What's the best roof for a flat or low-slope roof in Las Vegas?

A reflective single-ply membrane — TPO or PVC. These create a continuous, watertight, highly reflective surface built for ponding resistance and desert heat — far more reliable than old tar-and-gravel or roll roofing. We install TPO and PVC (we don't do torch-down or spray foam), and we'll recommend the right membrane based on your roof and budget.

What is the difference between TPO and PVC?

Both are reflective, heat-welded single-ply membranes. TPO is a cost-effective, bright-white workhorse with excellent reflectivity. PVC adds superior chemical resistance and even stronger welded seams at a higher cost. Both dramatically outperform the systems they typically replace.

Do you install spray-foam or torch-down roofing?

No — we don't install spray-foam (SPF) or torch-down roofing. For flat and low-slope roofs we install reflective TPO or PVC single-ply membrane instead: a heat-welded, watertight, highly reflective surface built for ponding resistance and the Las Vegas sun. If your roof currently has foam or torch-down, we can assess it and talk through a membrane re-roof.

Do you do flat roofs on homes, not just commercial buildings?

Yes. We install TPO and PVC single-ply membrane on modern homes, additions, and patio structures, as well as commercial buildings. The system is the same family; we size and detail it to the building.

My flat roof ponds water after it rains. Can that be fixed?

Yes. Ponding usually comes from inadequate slope-to-drain or a failing surface. We diagnose the drainage, correct slope where feasible, and install a watertight reflective TPO or PVC membrane detailed to shed monsoon water. Call 725-502-3114.
