Some Commonly Asked Roofing Questions

How much do roofs cost?

Roofs are typically calculated by cost per square feet of the roof, and will usually run somewhere between $3.50 and $10.00/ft.

How long does it take to install a new roof?

Usually between 1 and 4 days, however, larger roof installations can take up to two weeks.

If my roof is leaking do I need a new one?

In most cases, the answer is no. Often we can repair a leaky roof and even put it back under warranty.

How long can I expect my tile roof to last?

Tile Roofs, if installed properly, can have a lifespan of many many years. Whats underneath the tile, called underlayment, is what makes the roof shed water. Typically underlayment lasts 20 years or less, since many roofing companies do not install enough layers of it.

How long do roof warranties last?

Most roof products are warrantied by the manufacturers, and City Seamless can offer you the best warranties available for all types of roofing.

If I replace my roof, do I have to use the same type that I now have?

No. The main consideration is how steep the pitch of the roof is and how much weight the existing sub structure can bear. Often it does not matter what type of existing roof you now have.

"I have nothing but great things to say about this company."

"I have nothing but great things to say about this company. I had a roof leak this spring during the heavy rains. Contacted City Seamless and they did everything they could to get it handled. They told me that the original roofer didn't do a good job--pretty common I guess. Even though they were extremely busy because of all the rain, they still came out and tarped my roof until they could make it out for the repairs. They found the two leaks that were obvious right away, and then found another that was on the complete opposite side of the house that I didn't even know about or point out and repaired it for a smile and a handshake. The other estimates I had gotten were far less detailed and I just didn't have a good feeling about them. I've referred City Seamless to CLOSE friends because I feel like they are a company you can trust like that."
